Every person experiences some form of trauma or neglect throughout their lives. For many, these experiences can evolve into challenges such as anxiety, depression, or other emotional difficulties or behavioral concerns. If this statement resonates with you and you’re feeling ready to lessen the impact of these struggles and move toward healing, I would be honored to support you. I am fully EMDR and DBT trained, so I mostly work with trauma-based disorders. The bulk of my clients are 12-25 years old, but I have experience with working with people across the board and welcome anyone motivated to pursue growth and positive change.
I strive to balance mindful awareness, an empathetic relationship, and consistent validation as you work toward creating meaningful change. My role is to walk alongside you, challenge you to look at patterns, and offer nonjudgmental support. I strongly believe that change happens one baby step at a time, so I empower you to take those steps, at your pace.
As we explore your experiences, memories, or patterns, it’s natural for difficult emotions or increased awareness to surface. These reactions are not signs of failure—they are normal responses to trauma and stress. However, when you feel supported enough to move through discomfort and honor yourself, the work can open the door to true healing and resilience.
