For over a decade, I’ve worked with individuals in some form of transition or major life change, often with trauma histories not too far below the surface. In each situation, I’ve found the most transformational interactions to be those rooted in both insight and somatic practices so it is a gift to craft a professional life at that precise intersection. Guided by genuine care and warmth, I support clients in gently attuning to the “data” stored in their body as a springboard to better understand, and compassionately respond to, core needs of safety, ease, worth, and authentic connection (with both self and others).
Following the full diversity of humans, there is no “one size fits all” model of somatic psychotherapy (thank goodness!) so depending on the client and their needs, I weave together aspects of each of the modalities in which I have trained: Somatic Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE), MBSR, Somatic Attachment Therapy, and Insight.
Whether supporting a client to release something that no longer serves them or ushering in something entirely new that does, the skills I bring to my practice are the same: mindful presence, deep listening, trust in the unknown, tenderness, and honoring the wisdom of the body, mind and heart as a beacon toward transformational healing. I hope you'll join me.

My approach borrows from the various somatic psychotherapeutic modalities (Somatic IFS, SE, etc.) to support clients in resetting nervous system's responses to traumas, large and small. In sessions together, we identify and practice with internal and external resources to comfortably navigate beyond the overstimulation and shutdown yo-yo to land in that sweet spot of balance, ease, and joy.
