Ashley believes every individual deserves a safe and comfortable environment to cope with life’s challenges. Ashley completed her graduate level internship working with children, adolescents and young adults. Ashley uses various therapeutic modalities that best align with each client’s specific treatment goals. She has received further training in Play Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and grief. She has helped lead children's anxiety groups during her internship. Ashley practices from a faith-based or non-faith based approach depending on the request of the client.
Ashley has previously worked as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher during her graduate studies. She has also worked two summers at a family camp as a camp counselor during her undergraduate studies. Ashley enjoys engaging in activities to help externalize one’s thoughts and problems.
Ashley’s goal is to allow each client to feel seen and heard through their therapy journey. She believes everyone is unique to themselves and their own personal story. Ashley plans to help assist, encourage, and support those seeking to achieve their therapy goals.
