I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with individual adults (18+) and couples. I have experience working with mood disorders, anxiety, substance abuse, life transitions, and I am actively working toward becoming a trauma-certified counselor. I am passionate about being a part of my clients’ journey to achieving their goals and making the changes they want and need.
While earning my Master of Arts in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling, I gained valuable experience working with the military community at the Veterans Administration (VA) hospital. Additionally, I worked in substance abuse treatment facilities for almost two years, providing both group and individual sessions.
I believe there is no one-size-fits-all model, so I work to customize and tailor each client’s experience to best meet their needs. My approach to counseling is open-minded, person-centered, mindful, and strength-based. I believe my clients have the ability to solve their problems with guidance and challenge, and I am here to support them every step.
