My name is Ashley Bila Bar-Zion, but my preferred name is Bila (ASW 118055) I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree Social Work with a focus in Integrated Health and Political Science. I am invested in working with clients from a social justice lens, emphasizing the impacts of oppression on groups and invididuals in society.
I have experience working with individuals who experience grief and loss, depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship conflicts, self-esteem challenges, domestic violence and other experiences you may come to session to work through.
My ultimate goal is to empower others to create meaningful change in their life. A strong therapeutic relationship and genuine connection can have a powerful healing effect on our previously damaging relationships and experiences; I believe that curiosity about ourselves and our experiences is a central part of the therapeutic process.
