I am passionate about helping my clients gain a better understanding of their story and how their previous experiences in life are influencing their present. I strive to create a safe environment for my clients, one in which they feel heard and understood. I believe while change is difficult; it is not impossible. There are moments in life when we all struggle and need help in shifting our perspective. My primary focus is treating individuals struggling with anxiety and life transitions. Clients who have a desire to find healing by addressing the wounds of their past would be an ideal fit.
The psychotherapy approaches that I use comprise cognitive-behavioral therapy and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). As a Christian, I would incorporate faith to the degree the client prefers. If you have a different belief system, I will respect that and not include Christian resources.
