My name is Ashley Alpert, and I work with children and adults who struggle with behavioral issues, ADHD/learning disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, and chronic pain. I tailor my approach to the needs of each individual. Together we will collaborate to identify issues and come up with solutions that work for you. You deserve the best care, from a therapist who is compassionate, knowledgeable, and able to provide you with the best possible treatment.
I use meditation, CBT therapy, talk therapy, DBT skills, and guided meditation. I generally work with kids starting at 12 up to 40 years of age. I am comfortable treating, depression, anxiety, bipolar, chronic pain, and learning disabilities.
I went into the field of psychology specifically to help those who are struggling emotionally and physically. I worked in a elementary school for three years, during my time at Antioch University Counseling Center. I also saw Pt's in the general clinic. I started my private practice as an AMFT and have continued as a LMFT, and work for Joon Care in addition.
