Hello! My name is Ashley Ann Simmons. I have been working in the mental health and substance use field since 2007. I am a M.S. LPC, LPC Supervisor , LADC under supervision, and CMIII. I work in Tishomingo, OK , Ada, OK areas. I am and OBH are currently accepting referrals in and around those areas. We work with children as young as 4 years old to older ageing adults who have mental health and or substance use/abuse issues. We also work with adults, couples and families to help improve relationships. I feel like counseling is very important for everyone. It is very important to be able to express your feelings in appropriate ways.
We work in the home, in the office and in school settings. W work with children, adolescents and adults who struggle with managing their behaviors related to mental health and substance use/abuse feelings/issues. I use like using CT centered, Cognitive Behavior,Family, and Behavior Modification as therapies to help the people achieve their life and tx goals.
I attended MSC to complete my Associate degree where I was a PTC (Honors) and National Honors. After this, I attended SOSU to complete my Bachelor degree in Recreation/Elementary Education. There a member of Honors ED and member of SOSU Rodeo Team. I complete my master in 2010 in Counseling from ECU and Substance use/abuse in 2014. I love meeting new people!
