I have developed my clinical skills within diverse settings including community based mental health programs, family court, correctional facilities, and private practice. I utilizes evidence based interventions in my work with patients. My interventions are largely cognitive behavioral, however, I am also influenced by psychodynamic and person-centered therapy styles.
I have treated patients across the lifespan but now specialize in working with adults, and my training in forensic settings makes me uniquely qualified to treat patients whose presenting concerns have complex implications. My doctoral dissertation focused on the fit between personality and specific occupations, and I have presented at various conferences.
I offer psychotherapy services that will help you identify causes of psychological difficulties, develop ways to change circumstances that are distressing, and cope with circumstances out of one's control. My style is collaborative, and I believe in tailoring treatment to each person's specific needs.
