I want to start off by giving you a virtual high five for taking your first step in the counseling process! You deserve to be here. You deserve to be heard, listened to, cared for, and respected. I believe that you are the expert on yourself and your life, and what we do with our time together is up to you!
My role is to help guide you to be your best, most complete self. This could include tackling whatever stress, anxiety, depression or trauma you are experiencing, or have experienced in the past. This could also include allowing you to vent or process your feelings about the people or things that make you feel angry, upset, or insecure.
I encourage my clients to develop mindful awareness and insight into their own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. When we are able to utilize your strengths and your skills, in combination with identifying what the behavior or thought is that you want to change, then that is when real growth and progress will occur.

DBT Teen Group (High School Aged)
Does your teen: Get upset easily? Struggle to calm down? Criticize themselves? Feel angry, depressed, or anxious? Get into unhealthy relationships with people who don't treat them well? Shut down or self-harm? If you answered YES to any of those questions, your teen will benefit from DBT! Take your teen from crisis to confidence in our DBT program. Each module is held once a week for four weeks from 6PM to 7:30 pm, for 16 weeks. Fall group starts September 27, 2022! All clients must participate in all four modules, but can start at any time.
