I believe in having a client-centered approach to treatment as YOU are an expert on YOU. I believe with the right support and tools, everyone has the ability to heal. I hold a certificate in trauma treatment from the University of Tennessee. I am EMDR-trained and have had success using EMDR with individuals who have complex trauma. I completed Yoga Teacher Training (200hr) and enjoy incorporating body-focused work with clients in session. I am also certified as an ADHD-Clinical Services Provider.
I use a variety of therapy techniques that best suit the client’s personality, resources, and presenting issues. I know that life can be an emotional journey, one filled with both joys and heartache. During the trying times, you don’t need to suffer alone. I believe that my job as a therapist is to sit with you in your distress and then help you carry it.
