I specialize in complex trauma, emotional neglect, religious trauma, and working with queer and neurodivergent clients. Abuse and other terrible things that happened to you can cause trauma, and what didn't happen can have just as big of an impact. Growing up with caregivers who didn't see or accept you, couldn't regulate their emotions, left you alone with big feelings, didn't protect you, or were absent or unpredictable can cause lifelong struggles. This may show up as anxiety, depression, dissociation, self-hate, people pleasing, mood swings, unstable relationships, and many other concerns that may be affecting your life.
I believe the body and mind can heal with the right support. I work with adults needing support for life transitions, relationship issues, complex PTSD, religious trauma, grief, gender exploration, depression, anxiety, neurodivergence and many other issues. I utilize mindfulness, somatic practices, and EMDR. I am also pursuing more training to work with OCD.
I am a queer, neurodivergent therapist, married to a wonderful genderqueer partner (who is also a therapist). I have personal experience with religious trauma, complex trauma, divorce, and OCD.
