As a licensed professional counselor, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges. My desire to help others began in childhood, rooted in my experience growing up in a military family. This background gave me a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and backgrounds, which I bring to my practice every day. I have gained a wealth of experience in multiple settings, including a Veterans Affairs Specialty Clinic, private practices, and a university counseling center.
I specialize in working with children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families to address a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, OCD, depression, grief, trauma, chronic pain, and relationship struggles.
I use a strong, integrated approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients learn coping skills, regulate emotions, and foster healthier thoughts and behaviors. I also have experience with Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma.
