My passion as a clinician lies in helping my clients feel they are living their lives to their fullest potential. I know the struggle to feel in control of your life often leads to feeling out of sorts in every arena of life. I’m here to help you sort out the pieces and feel like you are in charge. While I do focus on certain areas: anxiety, depression, disordered eating, body image and adjusting to life transitions I try my hardest to help my clients understand that they are more than their struggle areas. You are a person that struggles at times, you are not the struggle.
I provide confidential individual talk therapy to my clients. I use an eclectic person-centered treatment model allowing me to individualize treatment to each client but heavily use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfullness skills in my practice.
I know it is incredibly difficult to take that first step by reaching out and being vulnerable with a new person, I want you to know how valid fear may be in this setting. Hopefully we can work together to move past that fear into the freedom that comes from getting help.
