Hi, I’m Ashanti Smith, a Licensed Professional Counselor serving adolescents and adults across Louisiana through both telehealth and in-person sessions. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, hopeless, or unsure how to put your feelings into words, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. Many of my clients come to therapy during seasons of life adjustment, identity exploration, or while healing from trauma, and my goal is to meet you exactly where you are.
I use a person-centered approach, which means I believe you are the expert of your own life. In our work together, you can expect a safe, supportive space where your feelings are heard, validated, and met with empathy and grace. I am especially passionate about advocating for those who may feel overlooked, undervalued, or unheard.
