Hello, everyone! I would like to cordially invite you to your healing journey! I am a Licensed Social Worker from Columbus, Ohio. I obtained a Bachelor of Psychology degree from North Carolina A&T State University and a Master of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University. I have experience working in child welfare case management, community and behavioral health settings which afforded me the knowledge and skills to support individuals and families through a wide range of issues such as: depression, self-esteem, spirituality, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, self-esteem, and life transitions.
I am trained and utilize various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Strength Based, Trauma Informed Care, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), I also incorporate my Christian faith and other creative approaches such as art and music to therapy sessions.
I have a passion for empowering individuals to identify their own strengths to cope and overcome daily life stressors and mental health challenges.
