At Wedgwood, we are ready and able to help you create meaningful, lasting change and discover who you were created to be. I am a Licensed Clinician Social Worker in the state of Michigan. I take a person-centered approach to therapy. I believe people are the experts of their own lives but sometimes need someone to walk alongside them in this journey called life. I started my journey as a therapist in 2012, helping people process life's difficulties. I enjoy researching new studies and modalities to better serve the individuals I work with. I also continue to educate myself through training and obtaining certifications.
I specialize in working with individuals with anxiety, depression, self-esteem difficulties, and anger/aggression. I also work with individuals who want a Christian approach to therapy. I enjoy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals understand the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
I utilize Motivational Interviewing, Play therapy, as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills. I am also trained in EMDR. As a member of the Wedgwood Christian Services Team, I am committed to understanding and walking with you. I will work with you to understand what you want to get out of this journey and develop a plan to help you get there.
