Welcome to Four Trees Counseling & Art Therapy! I believe that therapy is a powerful space to tend to your emotions (pain, grief, sadness, uncertainty) that might be holding you back from fully engaging in life. Together, we’ll create a space where we can practice vulnerability, cultivate hope, and explore your sense of self / your place in the world. My goal is to empower you to develop self-trust & self-compassion while making sense of the unknown (and sometimes unknowable) aspects of life.
My training includes somatic techniques including Art Therapy & Brief Solution Oriented Trauma Resolution, which can help alleviate symptoms from traumatic experiences & increase your internal resources.
I'm also a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor & enjoy working through topics like dissatisfaction with your relationship to food, your body, or movement.
I use an eclectic framework, pulling from feminist, person-centered, and existential theories to support folks. I also utilize a pro-liberation and trauma-informed lens in my practice.
