My experience and training has been in development psychology and I use a family systems approach plus Marriage and Family therapy using conflict resolution techniques. I have over 20 years of experience treating substance abuse disorders/co-occurring, ACOA issues and codependency.I work closely with all psychiatrists to develop the best and most effective treatment plan. I have extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Choice Theory, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing,
I work with families with one member is diagnosed with a substance abuse disorder. I require individuals with active addiction to also attend a State certified substance abuse treatment program while working with the family. I have had specialized training in conflict resolution techniques and practices.
I will see clients on Saturdays and evenings. I will see adolescents individually and in family therapy.
