As an African American therapist and a Professor of Psychology I understand many of the challenges that are central to feeling accepted, loved, trusted and understood. My office is a place to begin the journey toward better understanding yourself and others. It's a place to resolve conflict, clear up confusion, improve communication, address feelings and develop strategies for coping with life's many stressors.
I specialize in working with couples and individuals from all cultural backgrounds. I facilitate the process of strengthening and improving communication in relationships. We work together on clarifying processing and finding solutions that will address problems of pain, sadness, betrayal, confusion, emptiness and abandonment.
