As a Certified Attachment-Focused Therapist, Consultant, and Trainer by the Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy Institute and the Attachment-Focused Treatment Institute my focus is on trauma and attachment issues, especially those related to adoption and foster care. I always begin with a thorough assessment that includes assessment the seven domains that may be affected by Complex Trauma. In addition I work extensively with families of teenagers on relationships, family conflicts, depression, drug and alcohol abuse, and school issues.
A thorough evaluation is essential before any treatment begins. There are different treatments for different conditions. I provide evidence-based and effective treatment for the clients I see. A relationship focused and attachment-focused approach is one I find most helpful. Clients benefit from this approach.
Certified by the Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy Institute and the Attachment-Focused Treatment Institute. We provide evaluations for custody and court related matters and work with various departments of social services on adoption and foster care matters. In addition, I testify frequently from families in various matters.
