Hi, I'm Jordan! I work with pre-teen and adolescent clients on telehealth. That means we can work through hard times in the comfort of your safe space. If you're local to Johnson City, I provide play therapy services to children ages 5 and up. I believe each person holds the answers to their own healing within themselves; it is through the therapeutic process that we can uncover them together. Through active listening techniques, I can help individuals gain greater insight into themselves so they can make lasting changes in their lives.

As a clinician, I thouroughly enjoy working with adults through the complexities of anxiety, depression, struggles with self-worth and compassion, relationship hurdles, and past traumas. I'm deeply committed to supporting women, particularly those grappling with the profound grief and loss that can accompany fertility challenges, miscarriage, pregnancy, or the postpartum journey.

At Within Holistic Counseling, we believe in getting to the root of the problem. Traditional talk therapy has been proven highly effective, so we combine this with meditation based therapy and somatic psychology to make it even better. To create lasting change in your life, you need to understand where your feelings are coming from. We are clinically trained in psychological techniques as well as, having specialized training in mindfulness meditation and the ability to create a holistic framework that will assist you in getting to the root of your patterns to heal and change them. Your work will be tailored individually for you.

As a primary therapist and sole owner of Broken Vessels Counseling, I am focused on only one thing, your success. I am passionate about walking along side the hurting, the lost, the captive, the broken, as they discover for themselves their own unique qualities that make them the treasured works of art they where always meant to be. It is my belief that through client centered individual therapy; "Team" oriented Family Therapy; and peer support group therapy; anyone who comes through our program and gives it all they have will successfully transition towards their desired goal in life, with new inner self awareness, esteem.

I have 21 years experience in the Mental Health field and always continue to learn how to best help a variety of populations. I have experience in and am able to treat people who have Anxiety, Depression, on the Autism Spectrum,Bi-polar, ADHD, OCD, Addictions, Phobias, ODD, Substance Abuse, Eating Disorders and low self-esteem.

I enjoy working with people young and old. I enjoy the one on one as well as family sessions. I love helping people reach their potential, their goals, etc. Be it young or old, youth or elderly. It's also a pleasure to me to get to meet new people and learn who they are.

My ideal client would be an adolescent, family, or young adult seeking to learn more about natural, healthy, positive ways to overcome the struggles of life. Needs would include finding more effective ways of communicating feelings to others, finding understanding ways to approach conflict, and finding positive ways to cope with difficulties. The client would want to work on changing unhealthy/ineffective behavior patterns and begin a process of change.

Life is filled with many different seasons. Some of those seasons can be messy, stressful, confusing, or exhausting. When we walk through difficult seasons, sometimes we need someone walking alongside us. My personal and professional experiences have led me to systemic view of whole-body health, meaning that physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health are deeply intertwined. With this focus, I seek to help individuals of all ages engage how this is at play in their individual lives. If you're in a difficult season, I would be glad to journey with you towards whole person growth!

I once read a social media post that said," If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, I will sit with you in the dark." Life happens and not always in a positive way. Even good days can be stressful. I do not promise to "fix you," but I do promise to help you heal and get back to life as it was meant to be. Some days, you don't feel like talking, that is okay, we can sit and do whatever you need. Everyone heals differently. What is important is that you heal your way and know you are not alone. It is important to love yourself so that others can also love you.
