Specializing in the treatment of trauma, grief, loss, depression and anxiety. I believe in a holistic approach designed to address both body and mind. By using modalities such as Mindfulness, EMDR and Integrative Somatic Therapy (TRM), as well as Art Therapy, I strive always to be gentle and supportive and to let you, the client set the pace and parameters of therapy. With 24 years of experience, I work with a broad range of problems with individuals, couples and families.
Using an approach based in mindfulness as well as helping clients develop more internal resources (positive qualities and strengths which they already have inside) helps clients keep from becoming overwhelmed by their feelings as we work through them together.
