I have worked in education for over 20 years. I obtained a Ph.D. in Counseling and Human Development. I am also a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP#3002), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D#1-11-9745), and a Diplomat from the American Board of School Neuropsychology (ABSNP#10246). In addition, I hold a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in the areas of: Counseling, Child Welfare and Attendance, and School Psychology. My areas of special training and expertise include school neuropsychological evaluations, functional behavioral assessments, and treatment planning for a range of neurodevelopmental disorders that affect learning and behavior.
I have additional training in Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT), Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), crisis prevention and intervention, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Positive Behavior Intervention in Schools (PBIS), techniques for teaching emotional regulation and strengthening executive functioning, and assessing and planning verbal behavior programs (Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program, VBMAPP).
I provide clinical supervision for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and school psychologists.
