My work ranges from people who have experienced serious trauma, and suffer from depression and anxiety to those who just want to feel better in their lives and their relationships. I love working with couples. I know from my own experience of being married since 1990 that relationships need nurturing and intention. I love helping couples find intimacy that may have been lost. I really see my work as helping individuals and couples live their best life!
I am a Drama Therapist. I often explore things creatively and experientially. I also do a lot of verbal therapy. However, when things are explored through drama and other arts modalities clients are able to feel things on a more visceral level, and sometimes achieve their therapeutic goals more quickly..
My office has many things that support drama therapy and expressive arts therapy : scarves, a sand tray , and other art supplies. I never push drama or the arts on anyone. My goal is to help my clients feel safe and supported through their journey towards a happier more satisfying life.
