I enjoy the work I do with individuals and couples, as we explore their journey. I am thrilled as I see clients thrive and change as they explore their opportunities. I have 40 plus years of experience in the treatment of adolescents and adults. I have worked in both residential treatment and community based programs.
I see the destruction to the individuals who suffer with addictions. Addictions have the tendency to interact; the idea of Addiction Interaction Disorder has to be examined for a healthy recovery. The individual struggling creates an environment of chaos, at times family members are the ones who suffer the most.
I feel the training that I have received from Patrick Carnes and his associates, and the association with the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals, helps me to provide my clients with the best possible, evidence-based, treatment approaches available.
