Destigmatizing mental health is one of the biggest challenges we face in todays society. As a licensed clinical social worker for over 20 years I have worked in many clinical settings amongst a diverse population of different ages, cultures, and ethnicities. My therapeutic style can be described as engaging, down to earth, and calming. I utilize a range of modalities including but not limited to solution focused and person centered approach.
Through my professional experience I found "will power" & "empathy" to be the most valuable tools in helping my clients overcome challenges; and create a plan for achieving goals that are aligned with their values.
