In the 30 years that I have been practicing, I have worked in a wide range of mental health settings, providing services to both children and adults. For the past 20 years I have been in private practice, and my goal is to work along with my clients to assist them in meeting their treatment goals. I provide a safe, confidential, and nonjudgmental atmosphere where a client is able to work out their concerns.
My primary orientation to practice is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, in which the therapist and client work as a team to address the concerns the client brings to treatment. CBT has been shown to be an effective treatment for use with adults and children.
I am also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, assisting clients to deal with stress as well as a number of other presenting issues.
