Welcome to my virtual practice! I have been a practicing psychologist for approximately 30 years. My practice focuses on working with women, teens and young adults. You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, fearful, depressed, and/or struggling with aspects of your identity. I am work with individuals who have experienced traumatic events. I can help guide you in identifying the sources of your distress and disconnection, and in collaboration with you put together a plan to begin the healing to overcome the barriers to your well-being. Licensed in Georgia, I provide teletherapy services to clients residing in PSYPACT states.
In working with children, teens, parents, or women's issues, different treatment modalities are available. Coping with life transitions, traumas, ADHD, developmental issues, behavioral problems, family issues, coming out and gender identity issues, anxiety and depression are the focus of my practice.
My Community Psychology Masters degree has shaped the way I see mental health difficulties. Difficulties today are not necessarily about inherent problems within individuals but the environment causing stressors that outweigh the capacity to cope with those stressors.
