My specialization is in relational concerns and intensive client care; I have years of experience working with individuals, couples, family dynamics and intensive cases addressing a wide variety of issues. I know that making the decision to come to therapy is a difficult one and I work to provide a safe and neutral environment within the therapy office for clients to share vulnerabilities, and take the desired steps toward change. I begin each client relationship with a comprehensive assessment to thoroughly understand the challenges, and will work collaboratively in setting goals to provide measurable structure to the process.
I'm trained in many approaches of psychotherapy. I am trauma informed and certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). I have an done an externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy(EFT), and am a leader in the intensive therapeutic services within the clinic. I am also a facilitator for the pre-marital PREPARE/ENRICH program.
