As a Japanese–English bilingual therapist with over 20 years of experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals, couples, children, and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity, compassion, and understanding. My approach is collaborative, systemic and culturally sensitive, focusing on the whole family system and the unique cultural and developmental contexts of each client. I have a particular passion for supporting intercultural couples, teenagers, youth athletes and their families, and mothers at all stages of parenthood, helping them build stronger relationships, improve communication, and foster emotional well-being.

Since 2008, I have led Mauli Ola Care, providing therapy and clinical supervision for post-graduate therapists pursuing MFT licensure. I am also passionate about community care and founded two programs: Mama Bear Club, a support group for Japanese-speaking mothers, and Project Cuddle & Read, bringing books and blankets to children in pediatric care.

I offer in-person and telehealth sessions and welcome clients from all backgrounds. As one of the few bilingual (English/Japanese) therapists in Hawaii, I am dedicated to supporting Japanese individuals and families who prefer therapy in their native language. I strive to offer all clients a safe and supportive environment for growth and healing.
