Through therapy, I will help you identify patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and work with you towards making meaningful changes. By learning to respond to your thoughts and feelings in a new way, you will experience less suffering. We will also focus on how your emotions are experienced within the body, as these felt sensations are often overlooked sources of useful information.
We will collaborate as co-explorers of your mental landscape, not only to reduce your current suffering, but also to better understand how these difficulties developed and what factors continue to influence them. By exploring the roots of these problems, we will work to lessen shame and build self-compassion. I'm excited to take this journey with you.
