I believe that we are capable of achieving change and growth though sometimes we need assistance in the process. In my practice, I create a warm, supportive environment that utilizes the therapeutic relationship to encourage change and bring individuals to a fuller awareness of themselves and their relationships. I use evidence- based treatment such as CBT and DBT as well as exploration of the past and present to help clients recognize meaningful patterns that impact their relationships, career and overall emotional and physical well being. I work collaboratively with clients to establish trust and determine our direction.
I work with individuals and couples from diverse ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, sexual orientation, gender identity and relationship style ( monogamous, polyamorous, and open relationships). I work with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, grief, abuse, sexual and gender identity, loneliness, coming out, work stress, sexuality, and life transitions.
