Hi! I’m a licensed clinical psychologist here to support you through distress that gets in the way of living as your most authentic, fulfilled self. I offer a validating, warm, AND change-focused approach to help replace ineffective behaviors with ones that align with your goals. I value evidence-based care and work with individuals of all ages, specializing in children, teens, and young adults—including those navigating college, grad school, and early adulthood. With an in-depth understanding of cultural nuances, I aim to empower your sense of self and honor the unique context you bring into the room.
My expertise is in OCD, Anxiety Disorders (e.g., Selective Mutism, social anxiety, GAD, specific phobias etc.), Tic Disorders & Depression. I specialize in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy for early childhood behavior & Selective Mutism. I also treat general emotional & behavioral dysregulation and difficulty adjusting through life transitions.
I completed specialty training in ERP at UCLA’s Pediatric OCD Intensive Outpatient Program & in CBIT with the University of Utah Tic Lab. I am also specialty trained in DBT (adolescent/adult), CBT & ACT. I’m certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (ages 2-7). Life does not need to feel so hard & I’m here to support you through it! Warmly, Dr. Ariela
