About
Sometimes we find ourselves in a place where we feel stuck or lost and have a sense of wanting to change the way things are. Therapy can help. My aim is to provide you a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are distressing or overwhelming. Therapy is a co-collaborative process in which you gain greater insight into yourself, a better understanding of your own strengths, and learn how to enact positive changes in your present life. I provide individual and couples therapy to adolescents and adults of all backgrounds and experiences.
I am passionate about helping you to overcome challenges, grow in your relationships, and find meaning and purpose in your life. I have worked with individuals and couples primarily focused on the following issues: anxiety, grief/loss, relationship issues, life transitions, identity, chronic health problems, trauma, and difficulty managing emotions.
I am active and supportive throughout the therapeutic process. It is important that your values shape the counseling process, as you identify your goals, and together we work towards achieving them using a variety of skills/techniques. An open therapeutic relationship is most important, as it is the foundation of positive change. Appointments Monday-Friday.
