I am interested in working with women at various stages of life. It is not uncommon to see anxiety, depression, anger, and confusion appear when there is a major transition in life. My experience has been with young ladies in their college and career era as they launch into the world of adulthood and its intricacies. I come alongside mothers who are going through the ups and downs of parenthood to help them feel empowered and heard. I also work with Spanish-speaking clients, thanks to my own bilingual background.
As a counselor, I come from an Attachment-based, Family Systems, and multicultural approach. I help process the dynamics that we all experience from our families of origin as we try to make our way in the world. I focus on boundary-setting, processing inner conflicts, and building upon each client's strengths.
I am a Christian, Latina counselor. I love to connect over culture, books, movies, and family stories. I am a wife and mother to three young children. I believe our faith and beliefs shape our way of life and its outcome, so it is important to know how we define them in order to pursue our purpose and find meaning in our work.
