I am a Faculty/Staff Counselor at Michigan Medicine and ONLY see active Michigan Medicine employees through the Office of Counseling and Workplace Resilience (OCWR). Please direct all appointment queries to the OCWR. I work with MM employees across the lifespan and practice within a multicultural, humanistic framework that privileges cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, mindfulness, and ACT-based interventions. My clinical approach positions meaning and values as core orientations in navigating life's hardships, as I believe times of difficulty may function as moments for profound connection, transformation, and hope.
Areas of practice: healthcare worker burnout and stress; grief/loss; death/dying; anxiety/depression; relational and family issues; acute/chronic health concerns; family violence/intimate partner violence; life transitions; minority stress related to racial/ethnic, religious, sexual, and/or gender identity and disability status
