About
Areinia has extensive experience working with adults, children, and families providing therapy in homes, in communities and in outpatient agencies through community based services. She has experience conducting clinical assessments, group therapy treating anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, marital/family issues, schizophrenia, substance use, self-harm, and behavioral disorders. Areinia believes that therapy should be non-judgmental, person-centered where the client/families and the therapist can work together to identify triggers and find new solutions for solving issues they experience.
Areinia uses Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, CBT and completed the 4 day EFT Externship. She works with the client/families to distinguish strengths and weaknesses as a part of the recovery process and she uses a family therapy systemic approach. Areinia is an AAMFT Approved Clinical Supervisor and is currently accepting supervisees.
Areinia is a Prepare Enrich and SYMBIS facilitator for marital/premarital counseling. Areinia likes to have fun and is known to find something positive in every situation. She enjoys watching others appreciate life and told by others that she is trustworthy, empathetic, positive, honest, encouraging and genuine. Areinia is currently accepting supervisees.
