Arbin Memisi is a counselor at LifeStance. He is a first generation American-Albanian who has family ties from Macedonia and Montenegro. The clientele that Arbin usually works with come in with issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, work-life balance, burnout, and ADHD, who want to come out of their dark cloud and grow in a much more healthier version of themselves where they can feel good every day waking up, feel calm, feel in control of their lives, and feel focused through out the day. Arbin also works with his clients to help them overcomes issues with insomnia!
For theoretical approaches, Arbin is trained in Motivational Interviewing, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Reality-Choice Therapy. Arbin is also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) to better assist clients who struggle with insomnia and poor sleep.
He also firmly believes that clients have the power to make the choice in what path they take as their choices are illuminated from the insight and objectivity the counselor has to offer. While change can be difficult, Arbin is here to assist the client and guide them through the unknown while providing unconditional positive regard for his clients.
