Our thoughts and behaviors serve a fundamentally positive purpose: protection. Essentially, I believe they have evolved to shield us from painful experiences and ultimately minimize the possibility of repetition. My approach to therapy is guided by this understanding and encompasses a warm and compassionate style so that you feel heard, comfortable, and understood, while still therapeutically challenging you to elicit internal motivation and change. Together, we will sort through what has brought you to treatment, and explore coping and self-esteem tools, so that you can carry your life story in a healthy and manageable way.
I am employed as a substance use & mental health individual & group psychotherapist at Oro House Recovery Centers. I accept patients both in-person and virtually in private practice. I am bilingual in English and Hebrew. I am registered through ASAM and am a registered Drug and Alcohol Counselor by CAADE. Additionally, I am certified in trauma-informed care.
As a behavioral health expert, I specialize in my work with teens, families, and adult clientele (18+) who struggle with: Substance Abuse and various Addictions, Depression, Anxiety/Stress, Trauma, transitional life stages/feelings of stagnation in life, and Grief and Loss. I mold my therapeutic approach to meet your individual needs.
