I am an EMDR and Neurofeedback trained Licensed Professional Counselor. I have experience working with individuals, families, teens and adolescents. I am bi-lingual in English and Arabic. My approach in therapy is existential and person center oriented. I like to take my time to listen and challenge a client’s thoughts so that we can expand on self-awareness.

I provide therapy to children, adolescents, and college students (ages 5- 20) struggling with various issues, such as anxiety, depression, life changes, trauma, and neurodevelopmental disorders including Autism and ADHD. I believe all individuals should have access to a safe and supportive environment that allows them to work through their life difficulties while also maintaining consideration of cultural practices and concerns. Areas of clinical interest include teaching adaptive coping skills, improving self-esteem, identity exploration, and developing effective social and communication skills.

You are not your diagnosis. I focus on wholistic treatment while providing individual and family therapy in order to understand the various aspects of your mental health. My goal is to help you understand your symptoms, and help you navigate through the obstacles that may arise to return your focus to living life. We will focus on your strengths, and how to use the coping skills I will teach you to resolve any conflict.
