As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I am trained to think systemically and work with individuals, couples and families. I have worked with a wide range of presenting problems, such as: depression and anxiety, stress related to life transitions (such as marriage, pregnancy, graduation, switching careers, etc), relationship & family issues, issues related to parenting and children, trauma, chronic pain, and more.

My approach to therapy is highly client-centered, decolonial, and culturally informed. I am excited to work with my clients towards their goals, whatever they may be! As a Sudanese, Muslim therapist and ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am passionate about welcoming clients’ various identities and their personal significance into the therapeutic space.
