I believe we need support and community, and to be heard and validated. It has been my experience that fear and shame are the root of many issues, and all issues need to be processed, but then we need to move forward. My goal is to give you the tools to improve and move forward. I want to provide skills for a better quality of life and improved communication and relationships. I want you to achieve your goals and have the confidence to ask for what you need, and the self esteem to know you deserve good things. I want you to know if you fail, as we do when we are brave and vunerable, you try again.

Change can happen the moment you decide to move toward it, as you may be doing right now. My role is to help you find your personal power and express it, while releasing beliefs, emotions, and habits that do not serve your true self. I want to help you develop your creative and productive skills to create the life you want, while providing emotional support through your journey. I work with many clients learning they are neurodivergent later in life, many that struggle adapting to college, and clients working toward body acceptance.

I believe everyone has the innate ability to change. My role as your therapist is to facilitate change in areas you want to see improvement. I work from a person centered approach which is a nondirective, empathic approach that empowers and motivates the client in the therapeutic process. Rather than viewing people as inherently flawed, with problematic behaviors and thoughts that require treatment, person-centered therapy identifies that each person has the capacity and desire for personal growth and change. I take clients ages 12 and older effected by anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relational issues and work stress.
