I believe that people seek out counseling because they feel that they are lacking guidance and are struggling to make sense of the problem(s) or issue(s) they are experiencing. In other words, they feel “stuck”. Because of this, they are searching for a way to change, move forward, or process their own thoughts and feelings related to whatever is causing their problem. Each person has the option to take charge of their own narrative and change their current problems or circumstances or create a new life all together. Through the counseling process, I am able to help my clients accomplish that and move forward.

I specialize in supporting the LGBTQIA community, military personnel, and those facing challenges like coming out, depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and compulsions.
Feeling Broken? Taking a first leap into to better life can be tough, and I get how overwhelming it feels. Starting therapy takes courage. I’ve been there, having struggled with anxiety and depression, coping in ways that hurt my relationships and left me isolated. I often felt aimless and mostly used gaming and other time killers as an escape, though they usually helped very little. These experiences shaped my understanding of life’s pressures and inspired me to become a therapist. I’m here to help you work through your struggles. Let’s take that first step together—reach out to get started whenever you're ready. I've got you! :)

I provide therapy for adults, children, and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, grief, PMDD, and the complex experiences that can arise during pregnancy and postpartum.
As a Brainspotting & EMDR Therapist, I use evidence-based therapies to help reprocess distressing memories, rewire neural pathways, and shift self-limiting beliefs. Trauma can become "stuck" in the brain, distorting self-worth and one's sense of safety. EMDR and Brainspotting facilitate deep healing, allowing you to release pain and regain emotional freedom.

I help clients struggling with anxiety, trauma, OCD, and relationship patterns that feel stuck.
Let’s Reclaim Your Peace — One Step at a Time Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like no one really sees you? Maybe you’re exhausted from always trying to keep it together for everyone else—while silently struggling with anxiety, past trauma, low self-worth, or relationship patterns that leave you feeling empty. If you’re here, chances are you’re searching for a safe space where you don’t have to explain why you feel the way you do. You just want to feel better—and you deserve to.

I have 13 years of experience treating adults and teens with depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma history, interpersonal problems, codependency issues, stressors related to their home and work environments, and difficulty changing unhealthy behaviors/patterns.
When we’re struggling, friends and family often have a desire to help but naturally try to “fix” us versus being able to actively listen and offer any real solutions. This is where therapy comes in. You need someone to listen objectively without judgement, offer valid insight, and give you tools that will help you to create positive change and improve your quality of life.

Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD) Therapists

How long does OCD treatment take?

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is often treated on a weekly or twice-weekly schedule, depending on symptom severity and the client’s preferences. Some clients may start to see a noticeable improvement in symptoms in as little as six weeks, but it’s also possible, especially in more severe cases, for treatment to take several months to a year before significant progress is made.

What happens if OCD is not treated?

Some people with OCD, especially those with mild symptoms, may find that they are able to adapt reasonably well to life with the condition, even if their symptoms never resolve completely. However, many people, particularly those whose symptoms are severe at the outset, find that their obsessions and compulsions grow more intrusive with time, making it harder to maintain relationships, hold down a job, or navigate the world successfully.

Are there medications for OCD?

Medication can be used to treat OCD. The class of drugs most often prescribed are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRIs, which include fluvoxamine (under the brand name Luvox), fluoxetine (Prozac), and sertraline (Zoloft), among others. In cases of treatment-resistant OCD, other classes of medication, such as tricyclic antidepressants or atypical antipsychotics, may be prescribed. Medication is frequently used in conjunction with therapy.

Can OCD come back after treatment?

Yes. Major life transitions, periods of stress, or other factors can cause symptoms to return or, if they were never fully eradicated, to ramp back up in intensity. For some, these relapses are brief and do not require additional treatment; identifying specific triggers and practicing the skills learned in therapy can help speed their course. For others, returning to therapy for a brief period can help address the underlying stress and strengthen coping mechanisms.
