My trauma‑informed, integrative approach blends EMDR, mindfulness, and body‑based work to support deeper healing.
I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected despite “holding it together” on the outside. Many come in wanting to understand old patterns, big emotions, or the tension their body carries. They’re tired of pushing through and want real, lasting change. My clients want a grounded, compassionate space to explore their story, build regulation, and reconnect with themselves. If you’re ready for deeper healing, I’d be honored to support you.

I work with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD and ADHD; however, my primary areas of focus are working within the LGBTQIA+ community and with trauma.
I believe in treating everyone with respect, as an equal, and without any labels or judgement. I tailor the dialog and treatment plan to meet each clients’ specific needs. Each individual is unique and there is no "one size fits all" in therapy. I am relatively informal in my approach, but flexible for the needs of each client.

To do this I practice an evidenced based trauma therapy called EMDR that uses the body's built-in processes for digesting maladaptive information.
For individuals and couples, we will investigate patterns from the past and present that keep you stuck. Let me help you clarify what it is that you want, how to get there, and add some tools to reach your goals. For those struggling with trauma or panic attacks I practice an evidenced based therapy called EMDR.

Trauma is not a theirs is worse than mine experience, we each experience and react like the amazingly unique beings we are.
Of course while a more traditional talk therapy is always available it is just one of several treatment modalities with a CBT based foundation that I utilize that can assist in healing and growth. My goal is to provide a safe judgement free environment where you can learn to like and love yourself again.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, depression, neurodivergence, life-transitions, and caregiving roles.
In addition to traditional talk therapy - which can be incredibly helpful - I offer experiential therapy for people who have done that work and still feel stuck. I integrate somatic work, EMDR, parts work, and expressive approaches to work with patterns in real time and create shifts beyond insight alone.

Step out into freedom and embrace the life you were born to live! Is fear running your life? Do you hide the “real you” from family & friends? Discover the courage to be who you truly are! Many people dealing with anxiety, depression and gender and sexuality issues feel they are missing out on life. Clients I work with often report feeling alone and afraid to reach out for help. They no longer want to hide who they are, yet also feel stuck moving forward due to lack of support or fear of judgement. My passion is to help you ditch the shame and find freedom to love the person in the mirror despite the opinions of others.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists
When should I seek treatment for trauma?
Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.

How long does trauma therapy take?
Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.

What happens if trauma is left untreated?
Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.

Can PTSD come back after treatment?
It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
