I also hope to bring a unique perspective, as I am a Native American.
Throughout my career, I have worked with clients walking through anxiety, life transitions, grief, and terminal illness and primarily work with women who deal with these issues. Through my time working in this profession, I have also been involved in ministry ranging in different capacities and have learned so much through my own walk with my community and the Lord. My heart and hope for this practice come from Isaiah 41, showing we all are in need, but God will provide, turning dust, despair, into beauty and life.

What is holding you back? Trauma, anger, shame, sadness, worry? Who would you be if you were able to let any of these go? My name is Jesse Bruesch and I have been a therapist for 9 years. There are ways forward.
I am grateful for the opportunity to walk with others on their journeys. Helping people plan goals for their growth and then seeing them surpass what they believed they could, is my passion. Planning our directions can be hard, because as we heal, our mindsets and directions change.
I am an EMDR therapist and I also work with cognitive behavioral therapy, with an emphasis on the psychodynamic approach.

Our problems in life can sometimes seem insurmountable and our future outlook, hopeless. In my experience, finding someone to help can be the first step towards overcoming the obstacles we face. There is always hope and a path to health and healing.

I specialize in Equine Therapy as well as traditional office psychotherapy. I take a mindfulness approach to "holding space" for my clients. I also recently completed an externship and Core Skills in Emotion Focused Therapy which allows me to do some pretty tough work with couples seeking joint therapy. I am also undergoing supervision for Trauma Focused CBT.

We are all worthy of love, happiness and respect, as long as these do not come at the expense of others. Happiness, joy, peace, fulfillment, love and meaning are likely things we must discover, create and nurture throughout our lives. Our current selves are the culmination of our past however this is not all we are. I believe we all have basic human needs that are in constant flux and we are responsible for fulfilling those needs through the choices we make and relationships we maintain. Finding balance within life is fostered through challenging our perspectives and learning from our mistakes/failures, not shaming or fearing them.

We all have struggles from time to time. Life can bring loss, disappointment, confusion, frustration, and the feeling of being completely overwhelmed. The clutter of emotions can take over our lives and affect our relationships. A counselor provides an emphatic ear, support, and a safe place to sort through the struggles and emotions. Many times we find clients are unaware of their strengths therefore underutilizing them. Some simply are unsure of the next step. We help couples regain control of their emotions and clear the way to better choices.

My ideal client is looking for a therapist to guide and support them towards their personal growth goals and emotional wellbeing. I love working with people on their journeys toward authentic living and discovery. Therapy often involves taking deep dives into one's inner world and looking honestly at behavior patterns and ways of relating to oneself and others. I have a laidback and personable approach to therapy, holding a non-judgmental space for you to share your unique life experiences and perspectives.

Are you looking for more from life? Anxiety hits all of us differently. ADHD, OCD, addiction, and grief are just a few sources of anxiety that can get in the way. I specialize in helping detangle you from your anxiety, and help people walk away with skills to experience calm and peace. My clients often set goals and achieve them with the right support. I offer EMDR (eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing) for clients who continue to have PTSD-like symptoms after traumatic event(s). It is an honor to walk alongside those who have been stuck, and help free them from what has kept them captive.

Clients seek treatment not only to make a connection with someone, but to see concrete changes in their lives. You’ve made the first, BIG step by asking for help. Being vulnerable can be scary, but it is absolutely necessary to overcome the challenges that we face. Whether you’re struggling with a recent trauma, an unhealthy relationship, or just feeling anxious and/ or depressed, I would absolutely love to help you on your journey towards finding the best version of yourself.
