Where do I go from here you might ask? You've endured a traumatic experience, maybe even more than once. You just had another blowout with your troublesome child or your family is in a spiraling crisis. You're in a volatile custody battle. Perhaps you don't recognize who you are anymore. You are paralyzed with fear or you don't know why you are so sad. Did that last explosive outburst of anger cross a penalizing line? I can help. I can work to help you function, to overcome a baffling obstacle or see a new vista.

At some point in our lives we have felt broken. It can feel painful and we might want to avoid this pain, numb this pain, or feed this pain with unhealthy outlets. That pain may feel heavy and too hard to carry. I want to provide a space where all broken pieces are seen and heard. All broken pieces have meaning, value and are valid. A place where the pain you carry is lighter because you are not having to bear it alone. It is an honor for me to be able to meet you where you are in these spaces and watch you break through barriers that have kept you trapped or stuck, allowing you to fulfill your purpose.

Parts work ( IFS), EMDR, & other trauma informed practices are used to support your internal work.
Your childhood didn’t provide the instruction manual you needed for life. You coped as best you could & yet you question your decisions when it comes to partnering, parenting, or leading. Your mind is constantly active, your heart is braced or bruised, & your spirit & body are MIA. You rumble with angst, doubt, & anxiety. Your capacity isn’t keeping up with your desire or demands. You go deep, are “highly sensitive”, creative, or gifted, yet your strengths are overlooked & your differences are not seen or supported. You need TLC for your wounds, ways to address your unmet needs, & skills to grow your capacity.

I use an Internal Family Systems system approach to cultivate self-compassion and growth.
I believe every person has the capacity to heal and to live a connected, vibrant life. When faced with anxiety, depression, and pain, we sometimes cope by developing habits and re-living patterns that hold us back. Whether you are experiencing unfulfilling relationships, grief, panic, or numbness, we can work together to get to know your story and illuminate the path forward.

I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, individuals, and families,(EFCT, EFIT, EFFT), Eye Movement Desensitizing and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems.
We all, at some point, will need or desire to reach out for a helping hand. Some people have had therapy experiences before and others have never stepped foot onto the parking lot of a therapy clinic. Either way, you are welcome. No matter what your past or present looks like, I will meet with you as a human being. I work with individuals, couples, and families.
If you choose to come to my service, I appreciate your bravery and desire to be a better human. After all, we can only change what we acknowledge to be real for us... which helps us become better individuals, partners, parents, and HUMANS.

My approach pulls from somatic practices, mindfulness, Parts Work ( IFS-informed), and Attachment-Focused EMDR.
I’m a holistic therapist with eight years of experience helping people move through trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and the messy work of rebuilding self-worth. My style isn’t about quick fixes or sugarcoating—it’s about getting honest, going deep, and learning to trust yourself again.
I work with people who feel a little “too much” or “not enough,” those who are burned out, cracked open, or just tired of pretending everything’s fine. We’ll tune into your body, listen to what it’s really trying to say, and work with the parts of you that’ve been carrying the weight for too long.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapists
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.
How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.
Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.
How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
