Life can feel overwhelming. Past experiences can shape our present view of life, thoughts, and behaviors as well as impact the future. Trauma is not a theirs is worse than mine experience, we each experience and react like the amazingly unique beings we are. Feelings like shame, guilt, embarrassment are just a few of the residual emotions left by traumatic experiences. Those can create an unhealthy view of ourselves and can lead to a decline in mental health. Overcoming negative life experiences can be similar to opening the curtains making the dark disappear and letting the light back in our lives.

My ideal client is any person struggling emotionally with anxiety, depression, identity issues and family conflicts. These are just a few of my passions in assisting clients to learn skills for a more emotionally fulfilled life. This begins by improving self-worth and self-esteem through setting attainable goals geared to each individual needs in order to reach their potential self. Life can be puzzling at times and a challenge to learn how to put the pieces back together in a functional way where you can "Thrive" and not just survive.

Sessions are client-centered and assist clients in reaching their goals. I like to serve as a guide and a helper to assist in unpacking complicated things. I believe that people have the answers inside them and sometimes need some assistance in seeing things more clearly to live their best lives.

The process to find the right counselor can be daunting, but it’s important to find not only someone who specializes in your needs, but also gets you as a human. My aim in therapy is to provide a personable and gentle experience. In my office we will laugh together, but also face hard realities together. Those who are experiencing anxiety, trauma, health conditions, or a faith crisis/deconstruction will find a safe place to process and learn new skills in my office. My practice is Neurodivergent Affirming and LGBTQ+ Affirming.

I accept Arkansas Medicaid, ARKids, Summit, Empower, CareSource as well as Self Pay.
It takes such courage to begin therapy, congratulations on taking the first step! I believe therapy can benefit us all, and I love seeing the positive changes in my client's lives and families as they process trauma, learn new skills and come to understand things in new, healthier ways. I see clients of all ages, but I most enjoy working with teens and tweens, the quirkier and messier the better. Together we can build an alliance that allows them to feel safe and heard, and develop skills that will have life long benefit.

Welcome! Seeking mental health support is a brave and vulnerable first step to take, and I'm glad you've made it this far. You may be an overwhelmed and drained parent, looking to expand your toolkit to support both your family and yourself. Perhaps you have a child or teenager who has experienced abuse, trauma, and/or is struggling with mental health issues and needs a safe and trusted space to land and recover. Or maybe you are an individual who is stuck replaying old patterns, feeling burdened by old wounds, and noticing how this shows up in how your experience your relationships and the world around you.

My ideal client is someone who has a feeling that something is not as it should be in their life. I believe that every person has wounds either from family, disappointments in life, or from traumatic experiences. I also believe life is most vibrant when those wounds are acknowledged and witnessed by those you trust, rather than avoided or denied. As a therapist, I am privileged to join my clients on a part of their journey towards healing and fulfillment.

I find it meaningful to help people rediscover resilience after trauma, create fulfilling relationships, and set boundaries that connect rather than isolate. My approach is collaborative and supportive, fostering safety and trust so clients feel heard, respected, and empowered as they move toward healing and personal growth.
