I have been in this field of psychotherapy for 25 years. I tend to be more pragmatic, excelling in the "Now What?" stage. I am solution-focused and action-oriented providing applicable skills and cognitive understanding. I have worked in two different private practices since my graduation from Seattle Pacific University back in 2006 before I started my own here in Edmonds, WA. So I have gleaned enough experience and confidence to provide you a mental health service you can trust. If you're interested in self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-disciple, I invite you.
In our first, free, 50 minute "interview" you will assess 1. If I'm competent enough for your case and 2. If we have the right kind of chemistry for this kind of work. You will be introduced to how I tend to offer options, perspective and verbiage to help you communicate and process complicated situations and relationships. I will offer HOW to do the WHATs.
I teach people through Validation and Accountability. I will help you examine what shapes your decisions. I'll make concepts like Forgiveness and Anger Management applicable and productive. My agenda will always be Productivity.
