I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience counseling individuals, groups, and families. I earned my master’s of social work degree from Baylor University and my bachelor’s of science in psychology from Florida State University. My passion is helping children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Common issues I help clients with include anxiety, depression, adjustment, separation, grief, behavioral issues, peer relationship issues, social skills, anger, self-esteem, and coping skills.
I take a multi-faceted approach to understanding and supporting clients while utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques including, but not limited to, play therapy, solution-focused therapy, strengths-based approach, person-centered techniques, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
It is important to me that clients feel safe and seen and that their feelings and needs are validated. I work with where clients are now, address and process where they were, and help them grow and get to where they want to be.
